Olga Tokarczuk "Ur und andere Zeiten"
The volume deals with the element earth and contains a text passage "Prawiek i inne czasy / Ur und andere Zeiten" by Olga Tokarczuk in Polish and a German translation. First the German text is printed multi-colored with 20 cicero wood type letters onto the recto and verso page of large oil papers (this paper is normally used to wrap up oily maschine parts). The letters are inked by using a hand roller. So each copy in the edition of forty volumes looks different. Afterwards the paper sheets were divided into four equal parts and cut to book size. So the text is meandering through the entire book and a linear reading is not possibly. Finally on some pages the text is bilingual printed in a smaller type.
