Together with EAU, ERDE and FUEGO, AIR belongs to a subgroup within the encyclopedia: the four elements. The volume contains two chapters from H.C. Artmann’s "Der Aeronautische Sindtbart oder Seltsame Luftreise von Niedercalifornien nach Crain", as well as various footnotes about the topic AIR. The book is completely multicolored illustrated. Graphics are printed from polymer-plates. Artmann died in December 2000 and this volume is dedicated to him (The illustrations backgrounds show on all pages Artmann’s face).
